This scene is where Ledger earned that Oscar. He looked at Maggie Gyllenhall, said she was beautiful and sounded convincing when he did it. He is Not Our is a silent Guardian,A Watchful Protector,A DARK KNIGHT. I LOVE THIS SOUNDTRACK SO MUCH. Die hard film series ka review please. These civilized people. they'll steal your toilet paper. March 2020. This is a real BATMAN. He has no real super powers. But anyone can be batman because of it. I don't speak Japanese, Ooo I know I'll turn on subtitles. shouting in Japanese oh. well I'm glad I barley speak Chinese.

Best trilogy ever. Like if you agree. I always love how he says ”depending on the time he could be in one spot or several” meaning that Harvey dent could've already been blown up.

Mr. Fisher was dumb as a box of 17 rocks, so gullible ugh 😐

I would hear RISE all my life, dark knight rises was the best film of the triology. My god, what a legend... Someone is here in 2018? I love the soundtrack. Before John Wick, Joker here already killed with a pencil. It's certainly no exaggeration to claim Heath Ledger entirely owns this film. He clearly lived for his role of The Joker, most likely died for it too, and he's undeniably the sole reason why "The Dark Knight" is currently considered to be one of the greatest movies ever made and even topping this website's very own top 250 ranking. But Heath Ledger deserves every single word of praise and honor that is being written about him. Ledger's passing irrevocably gives an extra and deeply tragic dimension to the new Batman movie, but even if the actor would still be alive today he would be the film's main attraction. With his performance as The Joker – a brilliant psychopath without cause or motives – Ledger exactly embodies what the ultimately relentless cinematic villain looks and acts like. Right from his first appearance on screen, when he illustrates an imaginative yet highly disturbing magic trick involving a pencil, Heath Legder already surpasses the performances of everyone who ever depicted the character of the Joker in the past and, yes, this even includes the almighty Jack Nicholson. The "new" Joker looks menacing, talks menacing, behaves menacing and – most unsettling of all – his vile acts are completely impulsive and unpredictable. The Joker's facial make-up looks grimmer than the expressionist paintings by Edvard Munch, the morbid anecdotes he narrates about his past will give you cold shivers and even his continuous smacking of the lips is downright petrifying. It is, simply put, one of the greatest and most mesmerizing performances ever given. Period.
Of course, given the brilliance of Ledger's performance and the tragic event of his death before the film's release date, you sometimes can't escape the impression that the whole production relies and revolves entirely on him, and this shouldn't be the case with such as prestigious and eminent film like "The Dark Knight. The storyline is basically very thin and most of the time it feels as if Batman himself is actually just a supportive character in the giant Joker and Harvey Dent (stellar performance by Aaron Eckhart) two-men show. Christian Bale's performance is terrific as always, but the his opponents – whether they are evil like the Joker or in love as well with Rachel Dawes like Harvey Dent - simply appear to be more interesting than Bruce Wayne and even Batman himself. The screenplay isn't impeccable and generally speaking "The Dark Knight" definitely isn't the number one greatest movie ever made, but it's undoubtedly a marvelous film and slightly superior than the predecessor "Batman Begins. This first sequel is much more sinister, with a couple of shocking revelations and unexpected twists. I still miss the typically Tim Burtonesque depiction of Gotham City, but Christopher Nolan does realize more and more that Batman is a tormented figure and his story takes place in a depressing and pauperized city. The stunts and special effects are very spectacular and impressive, and particularly because the use of digital effects is kept reasonably low. Very much recommended, but of course you were already planning to watch it, anyway.

Who's here after the batman teaser trailer. Superman movies will never be good enough to even hold the dark knight trilogy's soda. 8 years of The Dark Knight Rises💓💓 An epic conclusion to The Dark Knight saga💓💓🔥. The true villains of Gotham City are the ones who disliked this mix. RIP Heath Ledger. Joker is the craziest batman villain ever. What I like and love about this Trilogy is that it feels real. No superpowers. No supervillains with special abilities from other Dimension etc. Great. Unpopular view: the actors that played Maroni and Gambol are very underrated. But you know legends never die. It's not who I am underneath. But what I do, that defines me.

It is just what you want for the best movie. Great story great acting, thrilling twist.
Just watched Joker in 2019, I just has to come back and give dark knight a 10. And thanks to Heath Ledger for the exceptional performs. The Dark Knight is the absolute peak of not only Nolans trilogy but of all the Batman franchise. In fact, its the best superhero movie there has been and one of, if not my all time favourite movie. Heath Ledgers take on iconic villain The Joker is simply breathtaking and its a crying shame he could not take the plaudits. Bale, Caine, Freeman and Oldman all excel once more, although unfortunately I feel Maggie Gyllenhaal did not match Katie Holmes' performance. That is the only negative I have in what is a near perfect movie. Goyers writing is enthralling and Nolans shooting is breathtaking. Nolans ability to continually build the tempo from various moments using the stories pacing, faster shooting and Hans Zimmers composing sent chills to my spine. The movie once again sent you through a series of emotions and deserves every bit of credit is received.

Im not gonna kill you, but i don't have to save you.
